Two members of Business Micros senior management team will be facing their biggest cycling challenge yet when they join the GM Fundraising Ride 4 Hope across the USA next month.

Sales Director Graeme Bailey and Operations Director Keith Aspinall are veterans of two previous challenges from John o’Groats to Lands End and from the Eiffel Tower to Blackpool Tower but this ride is bigger and longer than anything they have attempted before.

The two will be joining the ten other members of the GM team from across the industry to ride 3,000 miles from San Diego to Atlantic City in three teams of four - riding an average of 50 miles per day each.

With climbs totalling 100,000 feet and temperatures in California expected to exceed 40oC, the two are undertaking an intense training programme in preparation.

Graeme Bailey said: “We hope to finish the ride in 17 very gruelling days. It is all for a very worthy cause though and we are now appealing to all our customers, colleagues and friends to dig deep and show their support through sponsorship. The team at our Warrington office are ready to accept donations on: 01925 422955.”
