EvoDoor Software Openings
Business Micros have just launched EvoDoor, a specialist software solution that includes CNC machinery links for companies manufacturing composite doors and can already boast Door-Stop, Selecta and VEKA amongst their high profile customers.
The company has been offering a door module for over 3 years but the very latest developments to the software will take it significantly forward and hence the introduction to the next generation Evo suite of products that includes Evolution, EvoSatellite, EvoNet, EvoWeb and EvoCite. EvoDoor has been designed as the customisable composite door manufacturing software of choice for the specialist sector and for companies such as Selecta, they’ve also been able to introduce bar code scanning as a move towards a paperless door manufacturing environment.
One of the biggest developments is the online facility that allows installers to upload a photo, choose a door design with the homeowner, agree a price and send the order directly to the factory. Homeowners can choose from a specific range of designs that also includes colours, hardware options and even glass designs which are fully adaptable for each individual composite door manufacturer. It’s a ground breaking development in the composite door sector that links consumer to manufacturer by electronic means and there are also further bespoke development going on.
Graeme Bailey, managing director comments: “EvoDoor is the perfect addition to our Evo suite of software solutions. Technology will be the future for our industry as it streamlines operations, saves operational costs, adds product quality and ultimately serves the demands of the consumer. We continue to work with some of the biggest names in the composite door sector and are making further bespoke developments for each client.”
Other composite door manufacturers looking to improve their manufacturing processes should speak to Business Micros about EvoDoor, it’s an opening to a more efficient manufacturing operation.
