Business Micros has launched an entry level version of its EvoNet business management software.
Branded EvoNet Core, it gives progressive fabricators access to the key order processing, bar code scanning and customer relationship management elements of the popular EvoNet programme for just a £395 initial outlay followed by a low cost monthly rental.
Graeme Bailey, Managing Director of Business Micros, says the company is responding to demand from fabricators using the Evolution manufacturing platform who want some of the functionality of EvoNet in order to match their competitors but who don’t require the full business management package.
He says: “In the EvoNet Core version, fabricators can integrate their order book with their production scheduling and even use the bar code scanning option to track these frames throughout their factory. The Customer Relations module enables them to log all dialogue with customers and to track orders, analyse leads and evaluate sales performance.
“It is an entry level version of the software for fabricators who recognise that it is important to take the first steps in integrating these processes but who don’t at this stage require the advanced reporting functionality of the full EvoNet package.
“The modules included in EvoNet Core are full standard versions however, so if they decide to upgrade at any time in the future, it is a very simple process just to add the additional modules to their system.”
EvoNet has been one of Business Micros’ biggest success stories during the downturn as a large number of fabricators have looked for ways to increase efficiency and to identify those areas of their business where they were most or indeed least profitable.
Now, the company says it is extending the benefits of EvoNet to a broader range of its customers and is enabling them to take a first, cost effective step towards better business management.
