Business Micros has been busy over the last few months confirming its position as the UK's major supplier of software for cutting centres.

In the quarter to the end of January, it supplied and commissioned the software for eleven new machines. And during February, a further six installations were booked which is a record for the company and, it believes, for the industry as a whole.

Graeme Bailey, Sales Director for Business Micros, says: "Despite Gloomy predictions about the outlook for the market in 2008, there are still a large number of fabricators confident and willing to invest in new machinery and software in order to increase their efficiency and competitiveness.

"Business Micros and its Evolution manufacturing and processing package are proving the first choice for these fabricators and for the machinery manufacturers and the systems companies involved."

Graeme adds: "We have strengthened our position in this field and this has helped us to secure record figures, which is great news for us but even more pleasing is the fact that orders are for all of the leading machinery companies and for small, medium and large customers.

"Fastframe, First Class, TruFrame, Keyframe and Premier Windows are among our new installations and I am confident that they will provide us with an excellent springboard for further success during the rest of the year."
