Business Micros has added more resource to the team responsible for its new TOUCH end-to-end software platform for lead generation, quoting and online ordering, as the roll out to fabricators gathers pace.
Recently appointed data technician Dan Blake and the highly experienced Paul Fairbrother have switched from working exclusively on the Business Micros’ Evolution and EvoSatellite products to building and testing datasets for TOUCH as well, so that the live customer product data which is at the heart of TOUCH is ready for all the installations going live in 2023.
Both Dan and Paul are based at Business Micros’ Newton-Le-Willows office but are working closely with the TOUCH data team based in Scotland and the team at Group company The Consultancy, who are overseeing the roll out.
It’s good news for customers because more staff working on TOUCH means they are likely to get TOUCH Portal installed more quickly, and good news for Dan and Paul too because they are both being given more training and development opportunities.
Paul said: “I’ve been building one customer’s data right from the ground up which has been a fantastic experience and given me really valuable exposure to every element of TOUCH. Once the system is installed, I’ll also be on hand now to make any changes needed as well. After seven years working on Evolution, I’m very much enjoying the new challenge.” has progressed really quickly”
Dan added: “Since I joined Business Micros last year, it’s been obvious that the company is committed to investing in its staff. My career has progressed really quickly – everything I’ve been tasked with has been with the aim of learning, furthering my career and growing as a member of the team.”
